A New Poetry Experience

Join us to kick off a new poem-centered audio experience that honors the heat and life of Powderhorn Park in the summertime.
Come for one, two or all three parts.

Schedule of Events:

3-4pm: Poem Launch & Afternoon Walk

Powderhorn Park Community Center
3400 15th Ave S

Come learn about the project, grab a hot beverage, and head out at your own pace to walk the park path while listening to pieces by Moheb Soliman and Junauda Petrus intertwined with music from Douglas Ewart and a soundscape by Dan Dukich.

Family-friendly, great for younger kids.

4-4:45pm: Solstice Singing

Join us up on the park’s 14th Street Plateau with Sarina Partridge for community singing to mark the solstice and welcome the return of the light.

4:45-5:30pm: Dusk Walk

Come get a hot beverage to go and then join others to walk the Path and listen to the experience in the early evening light.
